Adobe XD Plugins: Adobe XD is one of the best software for creating complete and professional UI/UX models. As it bears the name of the program, it is affiliated with Adobe, the company that owns software such as Photoshop and Illustrator. After its installation, Adobe XD allows you to start designing the interfaces of websites, applications and pages freely, through a set of utilities. As well as applying some animations and even translations between the frames on the program.
However, one of its best features ever, is the availability of a store for plugins for the program, which brings a lot of different services that make it easier for you to create more professional designs. In order to help you get the best of them, in this article we suggest 10 plugins for Adobe XD that will help you a lot in your work, and make it easier for you.
8 Adobe XD Plugins:-
1- Add Icon 4 Design
Believe me, I don’t know how I will live without this add-on, being someone who designs now and then on Adobe XD, this add-on saved me a lot. Using icons in designs is a bit routine, you’ll need them most of the time. In the beginning you will probably use external platforms to download and embed icons, but it is tedious, and somewhat slow.
The Icon 4 Design addition comes to provide you with a quick search engine for icons, then different options will appear to you, as soon as you click on any option, the icon will appear in the Artboard. And because it’s a vector, you can adjust its size and even its shape, along with colors, borders, strokes, and more.
2- Add Pexels
It is an add-on for Pexels, a site that specializes in fetching high-quality images with common property rights. The addition to Adobe XD will help you to place and render images on any type of object (for example, a square, a rectangle, or a full page). Then add the image directly to the item. This will help you keep the process of searching for images and incorporating them into the project you are working on easier and simpler, rather than quitting the program and searching for good images and then using them. Play it easy my friend!
3 – Add Advanced Export
The goal of Adobe XD is the ability to create a set of UI / UX design models for later development, whether in the form of websites, or in the form of a mobile application. After completing the design, the developer is assigned to simulate the shape later in order to start working on it.
However, if you are a Front End developer and you create your own designs and develop them yourself, you will need to add Advanced Export. This plugin extracts the project you designed into ready-to-use HTML/CSS code. Meaning instead of redesigning it from scratch, you can extract the code directly from the design.
4 – Addition of UI Faces and User Profile
We will group two additions in one paragraph, due to their great similarity, and providing them for the same service. The two plugins can add user profiles to the shapes or shapes that you have designed. You can always use it to add user photos automatically and easily. Assuming you’re developing a web page for a social platform, you’ll need to include different user photos in order to bring some realism to it, so to avoid the hassle of searching, use one of the two plugins to fill in profile pictures automatically.
5 – Addition of Lorem Ipsum
I think from the name you will be able to tell the purpose of this Adobe XD add-on. Lorem Ipsum text is used to fill in a text blank where you don’t know what to write. There is a long text called Lorem Ipsum that you can use in topics, articles and texts for you to try. Also in Adobe XD, an add-on with the same name Lorem Ipsum helps you fill in the text space automatically so that your designs appear at their best.
6 – Add Mockplus
When you make your own design, you have to show it to the client, right? Whether it is Adobe XD design or design on Photoshop or Illustrator and others, it is necessary to present your design elegantly at the end. That’s why there are Mockups, which are ready-made templates that you can use to install and display your design in an elegant way.
However, the idea of taking the design in Adobe XD and then integrating it into Mockup can take a lot of work. Use the Mockuplus add-on permission, an add-on that can integrate your design into multiple Mockups. Using the plugin can be a little tricky, so use the following video to guide you in the correct way to use the plugin.
7 – Add Color Designer
Getting consistent colors to use in your designs is something that many may find difficult, so sites such as Colorhunt or Material Palette can be used. But on our journey inside Adobe XD, we try to make it easier, and make all our uses inside the program without the need for any kind of external services. So we will suggest you to add Color Designer.
It is an addon that shows you a different color palette with all possible shades of colors you can use. Add the colors you want to the color pack that you will use in the project (Library) in order to apply their use directly.
8 – Add UnDraw
UnDraw, in general, is a specialized website that offers a set of open source and free graphics for use in design projects, projects and web pages. Depending on the platform’s plugin on Adobe XD, you can also now use it in your UI/UX projects.
Clicking on the add will bring you all the illustrations available on the platform, you can search for any type of it and then add it directly to the project, and because it is open source, you are able to modify any part of the image, whether colors, size or composition, you can manipulate it as you want.
